Grant aid provided to demonstration type projects by organisations that produce goods and provide services in more environmentally friendly ways and aim to minimise emissions through cleaner production methods.

Lean Start

Grant support towards the cost of hiring a consultant/trainer to provide an introduction to Lean concepts, helping the company to gain an understanding of what the tools and techniques can do for them

Accelerated Capital Allowance

The Accelerated Capital Allowance (ACA) is a tax incentive which allows companies to write off 100% of the purchase value of qualifying energy efficient equipment against their profit in the year of purchase.

Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme

Energy Efficiency Directive 2012, requires obligated parties to fund energy savings independently or through partnerships with service providers in the market. Energy providers are currently offering businesses payments for verified energy reductions.

Eirgrid Demand Side Unit Scheme

Eirgrid and a number of energy providers will pay you to temporarily switch off/ turn down non-essential power or make independent standby power generators available during times when there is increased demand on the grid. You need to be able to take 4 MW off the grid to deal directly with Eirgrid. Your electricity supplier may offer payments for facilitating smaller reductions.
